The Scan to BIM software add-in takes the ordeal out of the process of getting 3D laser scanning data into a high-quality as built model in Revit. While Revit 2012 can now import point clouds, Scan To BIM provides tools to automatically create geometry such as walls, pipes or ducts, analyze the deviation between what you have modeled and the point cloud, check interferences, as well as a variety of producitivity tools.(This refers to the NETWORK license version of the product).
